Is There Life After Death?
Do you believe in Life After Death? My good friend and host of the popular radio show “We Don’t Die”, Sandra Champlain set out to disprove the theory of life after death and instead became a believer herself. How many stories of near death experiences do we need to hear before we too are convinced that there is life after death? Click to Tweet

Have you read those life after death stories and thought, “Yeah well how do you prove it?” Ask any person of faith to “prove” their faith and eventually they will say that the nature of faith itself is belief without tangible proof. So, maybe you are sceptical about life after death, but all I ask is that you keep an open mind. After all, for centuries we believed that the world was flat until science proved otherwise!

The Science of Life After Death
In the largest such study ever conducted, researchers have found evidence that consciousness continues even after brain activity has ceased. This evidence of life after death came from a study led by researchers from the University of Southampton and was published in the journal Resuscitation.
Contrary to perception, death is not a specific moment but a potentially reversible process that occurs after any severe illness or accident causes the heart, lungs and brain to cease functioning,
lead researcher Dr. Sam Parnia said.
If attempts are made to reverse this process, it is referred to as ‘cardiac arrest'; however, if these attempts do not succeed it is called “death”

Life after death is beautiful
Considering many are not convinced there is life after death it really seems odd that most everyone who comes back from one of these experiences report that life after death is beautiful and filled with an immense feeling of love. That they see colors that are more vivid and beautiful than anything here on earth and they feel purposeful and at peace.
Why then would we not jump onto the “believer” band wagon? After all the experience doesn’t sound all that bad. Not at all.
Why is it so difficult for us to believe in something as yet unseen? But I ask you, do you believe in energy? Of course you do and doesn’t an electrocardiogram give you the proof of the energy in our bodies? You know that it’s true because you see it on a piece of paper that has been verified by science. Why then when so called Ghost Busters have been recording energy of “unseen” beings are we all so reluctant to believe that something is actually there?
This weeks radio show guest is a very credible ex Marine Sargent who now considers herself the Ghost Whisperer.
She feels that many of the “ghosts” are stuck in an in-between state and need help moving on. You’ll want to listen to her here.
Life After Death Stories
Harvard neurosurgeon Eben Alexander had such a compelling, as he calls it “quick trip to heaven” that his story about it became a best seller. For seven days he was in a deep coma that doctors were sure he wouldn’t come out of, alive anyway. He says he journeyed to another dimension, a beautiful place with big puffy pink and white clouds and luminous beings. From his account it was beautiful and beyond anything he’d experienced on this earth.
Eben even says he had a traveling partner:

It turns out Alexander was not alone.
His traveling partner in the afterlife was a young woman with high cheekbones, Click to Tweet
deep blue eyes and “golden brown tresses” who, amid “millions” of butterflies, spoke to him “without using any words.”
“You are loved and cherished, dearly, forever,” she told the doctor, a father of two with movie star looks. “You have nothing to fear. There is nothing you can do wrong.”
When Harvard neurosurgeons and ex Marine Sargents are giving us their stories of life after death why is it so hard to fathom? Click to Tweet
Perhaps it’s just because we haven’t experienced it yet. Then again when you think of traveling in a hot air balloon, you don’t doubt that it could happen do you? Even if you’ve never had the experience. So why would that be the case? Is it because we can see accounts of these beautiful large balloons careening above us?
Many new thought “gurus” and even science says we are incapable of seeing all that is actually there. Wayne Dyer famously states Believing is Seeing and has written a book about it called “You’ll See it When You Believe it” http://t.co/fBG3JdwJVV

Very interesting Lorane! I can’t wait to hear the radio show. Believing IS seeing.
I believe in the afterlife having experienced a restless spirit in a flat I rented a few years ago. He was stuck and couldn’t move on until he had his burial rights (he was Ukrainian and Catholic). I look back in that experience as a major growth in my understanding of life after death. I no longer fear the afterlife. I feel it was a privilege to be chosen to help.
