Delegating and a Balance

Delegating and a Balance

I’ve never had too much trouble delegating work.  As a matter of fact that was demonstrated to me at a very early age.
Both of my parents had others doing work for them.
I am noticing that, though I have a wonderful team of people helping me with my business goals, it’s very important that I am aware of all the pieces.
I need to stay in the loop and always, always remain at the helm.
Master Mind -Mine is the Best

Master Mind -Mine is the Best

I was a bit reticent to attend my master mind event last week for a few reasons.

 1.  I had a lot of undone work to be finished
2.  I had to choose between this and another group I’m part of
3. It’s never easy leaving Harry & the pups even if only for a few days.
I’m really glad I went. This powerful group of entrepreneurs put their minds together and helped me with my branding.
I feel the little tweak they came up with will allow me to engage many, many more people.  Of course it helps that they are, as a group, grounded in integrity and authenticity.
I feel blessed to have had three days with these remarkable individuals.
My Little Monster Bax

My Little Monster Bax

Harry and I have a custody agreement even though we’re happily together.  I care for the dogs Monday through Friday and Harry kind of takes over on the weekends.  I find myself telling Harry what a little monster our darling 6 month old Baxter is.

Of course Harry defends him like any good doggy dad should, but why, I ask you, is Baxter so well behaved when Harry’s in charge?

Everything at Once!

Everything at Once!

I’m so excited to be attending my Master Mind event next week, but a bit sad that I can’t attend another event I really want to go to.

Both of them are business oriented, but there are loads of wonderful creative people at each event. Making a decision and choosing one over the other seems like a small thing and in reality I made my decision quickly.

The question is why are there 52 weeks in the year and everything I want to go to is happening on the same days?

Birthday Lunch With Dear Friend Silvia

Birthday Lunch With Dear Friend Silvia

Getting ready for a lovely lunch with my “sister” Silvia I know it will be short.

After all she’s a busy realtor and I have my product launch to get on with. So with that in mind I determine I won’t have a martini, or even dessert because I’m going to get back in front of the computer and get my work done.

One unplanned dirty Martini later our schedules were gleefully thrown into the air.
Fun, fun, fun, we laughed, we reminisced and shed sweet emotional tears together as only the truest and closest of friends do. I had the best of birthdays.

Thank you Silvia
